The city of Lawrenceville is the county seat of Gwinnett County and was incorporated on December 15, 1821. This makes Lawrenceville the second oldest city in the Atlanta area. Located approximately 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta, you are only minutes away from Lake Lanier or a short drive puts you in the breath-taking North Georgia Mountains.
Like most of the Metro Atlanta area Lawrenceville has experienced tremendous growth. Excellent schools, shopping and access to employment combined with plenty of green space give Lawrenceville that down-home feel with an up-town presence.
The real estate market in Lawrenceville is comprised of single family detached homes, condominium and townhouse residences and commercial property. The condominium market features new and resale properties that range in price from the mid $80,000.00 range to over $275,000.00. Single family detached residences can be found in small quaint communities, larger communities with swim-tennis facilities and executive golf-country club communities. The price ranges for single family detached properties in Lawrenceville go from the low $100,000.00´s to over $1,000,000.00.
You can obtain a multitude of community information including demographics, median income, average temperatures and crime statistics by visiting the community profile section of this site. I have also made detailed school reports for Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County available.
