Grayson
Present day Grayson was initially inhabited by the Lower Creek Indians. The Indians primarily used the land for hunting and villages. The rich history of Grayson can be found on the names of schools, roads, buildings and churches.
Today Grayson is a thriving area with a small-town feel and big-city access. Grayson is located in South Gwinnett County and is approximately 25 miles from Atlanta. Highways 316, 78 and 20 primarily service Grayson commuters.

Bay Creek Park This 153-acre park features Gwinnett County's first special-needs ballfield and playground named "Unity Place." Both the ball field and playground are accessible to wheelchairs and walkers. A second playground, and seven baseball/softball fields and a football field with a lighted walking track rounds out this spectactular park. Tribble Mill Park This 700-acre park with two lakes, fishing, trails for walking, jogging, mountain biking and horseback riding are available. There are several pavillions, and an open rental space for large festivals and a new large playground.
